Jim is done with women. Their games, their sensitivities, trying to figure out what they want and how to connect to them. Men connect by doing things together; couldn't women be that simple? No-that's not fair. Just because one woman hurt him doesn't mean that he hates them all. He needs to get away, be by himself, away from work, and ghosting fiancés and everything else that's going wrong with his life.

It appeared out of nowhere on his front lawn the day he started his cross-Michigan bicycling trip. The second he touched it, an image came to him of a beautiful brunette who flooded him with emotions that he can't begin to understand. Now, he can't stop thinking about her. Even when he has the charm stuffed inside his fanny pack and his home is far behind him, Jim can't stop thinking about the woman in his vision.

Until he meets her on the shores of Lake Huron. But how could a vision possibly come to life?
