Loss is always difficult to bear, but compound loss has a crippling effect that is hard to explain. Following the passing of her maternal grandmother, Cashe experiences a series of events that test her faith, patience and wellbeing. In a posthumous conversation with her grandmother, she discusses the twists and turns that shaped her early adult years.




Entangled in the throes of a complicated relationship, she struggles with letting go of that which no longer serves her. When new love seemingly falls into her lap, she becomes caught in the cross hairs of what can only be described as complicated. The woman who outwardly seems to have it all is broken down and forced to turn to the only person on whom she can depend, herself. When both of her love interests end up in federal custody, Cashe realizes that she is also being investigated by the authorities and the people in her town. As much as she wants and needs to pull away she finds herself coddling the affairs of the man she loves only to find that the love that they shared was built on false pretenses.
