This book is a description of what life is like growing up in the inner city. It explores the details of the day to day struggles that inner city residents are faced with. Specifically, it seeks to highlight why young males behave the way they do, and how we can learn to understand them, so we can help them.

The chapters explore some of the themes that are misused and misunderstood, and seek to give clarity and context to some of the issues arising from the culture of the inner city.
