The country is under attack by a new kind of terrorist group with technology that makes them nearly impervious to conventional weapons. In desperation, the United States government must explore unconventional and perhaps even crazy avenues to defeat these terrorists. Four individuals with actual magical abilities that they themselves didn't even know about soon find themselves recruited for a secret and last-ditch effort to save everything. Thirteen-year-old Chester Thomas is one of these individuals and although the situation seems like that of a dream come true, he quickly realizes he is way over his head. Boundaries will be pushed, limits will be tested, lines will be crossed, and worlds will collide just as the magic of the modern world comes to life.
