"She" is an entrepreneur who pursued her goals, designed her life, and loved every inch of it. She wasn't worried about what "they" were doing or what "they" considered success to be. She didn't want to hear what "they" had to say because she wasn't doing it for "them." She set her own standards and priorities and lived life to its fullest potential.
