The Boy and The Bridge is an allegory featuring a young boy as he approaches a crossroads in the woods and in a quiet moment of bravery learns about the deeper purpose of life. The young boy, like so many of us, has set out on a great adventure, blissfully unaware of an unmet need in his life. He finds courage within himself to conquer the world around him until he comes upon a large bridge and is taken back by fear, symbolic of the moment in our lives when each us realize our insufficiencies when met with struggle. As he begins to search his heart and mind for options on how to continue his journey without crossing the bridge, he hears a gentle whisper prompting him to simply have faith. The story chronicles the young boy's realization that faith and trust will carry him through the challenges of this life, symbolizing the beautiful truth available for each of us through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Each page is filled with stunning, vivid illustrations that take the reader into the journey in a familiar, relatable way.
