A small bar on the outskirts of a small town outside of Reno, Purgatory is run by Zhara's older brother and sister, Mike and Gabby Montrose. The Montrose family took in twelve-year-old Zhara with open arms, but the death of their grandfather four years ago has taken its toll, and disagreements over Zhara's relationship with Damien have caused a distance to develop between the once close-knit family.
