From John A. Russo: NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD was a hard act to follow but in 1990 George Romero, Russ Streiner and I decided to give it our best shot, with Tom Savini directing a cast of enthusiastic and highly talented actors, including Tony Todd, Patricia Tallman, Tom Towles, Bill Butler, McKee Anderson, and Katie Finneran.

It was an audacious and exhilarating adventure.

While making the movie, I took about a thousand photos, and many of them are published here for the very first time, documenting our trials, tribulations, and triumphs in words and pictures.

This book is my tribute to all who worked on the movie.
