Mary Houck also wrote The Circle of Poetry from a Mother and Son, which was published in 2010. A single mother of three children, she lives in Washington, D. C. She wrote and directed several different screenplays and got a job in a faith-based after-school program, where she continued to direct and write screenplays. Her mission is to reach as many young women as possible to help them understand their worth and develop a healthy self-image.
