The Storyline of the Bible
Peter Briggs
The Storyline of the Bible, an 8-session study, is the second in the 17-book Walking in the Way of Christ and the Apostles (WitW) Study Guide Series. A unique feature of the WitW study is that the storyline of the Bible defines the framework for interpreting books and passages. The Bible tells the true story of God's purpose for creating the universe and mankind, His oversight and involvement in the lives of individuals and peoples, and His sovereign rule over the events of history from beginning to end. The 8-session study begins with an apologetic discussion of why we know that the Bible is true. Over the course of the study, the student will learn to identify and appreciate the major elements of the Bible's storyline. One of the important goals of the study is to enable the student to formulate his own Bible storyline statement.
