Blessings come in all shapes and sizes. Blessings don't guarantee that life will be easy. Blessings guarantee that we are never alone. Blessings guarantee that God can handle anything life has to offer. And blessings guarantee that God has given us everything we need to survive and thrive in this life. We've got some great examples to learn from. The Bible is filled with accounts of biblical women who have gone before us. Women in all shapes, sizes, ages, and socio-economic situations. None are perfect but all experienced God's love, mercy, power, and patience. Studying these women has always been a great source of encouragement to me. I hope it will be a blessing to you, too. Let's spend a year being thankful for God's blessings, being thankful in all things, being thankful for God's unbroken promises, and being thankful for the fabulous Bible women who went before us and left us their stories to learn from. We can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. Romans 8:28
