After author was abandoned on Christmas Eve with a six-week old and a two-year old, an option of employing help in exchange for room and board led to taking in roommates for 18 years to help with expenses. The many issues of divorce and child custody were met with prayer and a belief that things would be better tomorrow. Joining a class to learn to play guitar, along with learning to sail added to a positive healing environment. Motto was never, never give up. If Plan A didn't work, try Plan B and keep on keeping on to find a solution.
