However, another man, Lewis, of dubious character, is then taken into the Source; he falls for an even longer time, and when he returns, has greater powers than Rymalone, but then seeks to dominate the world. Now, in order to stop Lewis, Rymalone must return to the Source, willfully enter it, and endure the seemingly endless eons alone. Will he go in, and what will he become, if and when he comes out? "Traveling at the Speed of Love" is about the first astronauts on Mars. The wives of the two men frequently visit the Space Center so they might observe their husbands on the giant video screen, and speak to them using special audio equipment. While one of the men is working on the surface of the Red Planet, Mission Control discovers that a meteor will soon strike where he stands; however, due to a long time delay, they will not have the chance to save him. It is his loving wife who provides a supernatural way to communicate the peril to him. "The Expanding Earth" is about an English family who finds, as they travel about in their cars, that the same trips they have taken many times are now taking longer than usual; soon, they discover the shocking reason. "The Vision" is about a college student, Benjamin, who experiences visitations from what appears to be an Angel, who soon declares that God has selected him to be his holy messenger on Earth. Benjamin must then decide if the Angel is real, and if so, what to do about it.
