Ashley encountered the enchanted Heather the Honey Bee and Beverly the Butterfly during a visit to the Butterfly Garden at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. She will never forget her adventure that day and how important the bees are to her food source. Even though she enjoyed helping on the farm, their favorite place was the Butterfly Garden. Heather and Beverly taught Ashley that the pollinators, including bees and butterflies, were dying and they needed her help. Artist Jon C. Munson II brings the characters to life with his colorful illustrations. This story is third in the Chesapeake Bay Adventure series and is suggested for children from 6-10 years old.
