After receiving many favorable comments and having interesting discussions regarding the previous books published by us, we are pleased to present this new book, which will certainly be a delight for everyone interested in aviation, from the earliest dreams of flying - Daedalus, in Greek mythology, who constructed wings for his son, Icarus, literarily explained by Publius Ovidius Naso (43 BC - 17 AD) in his Metamorphoses (8 AD) - then the first design of flying machines by Leonardo da Vici (1452 - 1519) - to the present day advanced aircrafts, UAVs and spacecrafts. There is, surely, much more that can be said about this subject, and we hope that this book will provide ideas for our audience, which will stimulate more research, development and applications.
