Overcoming Life's Curveballs Sonya May

If you know anything about baseball, then you know how tricky the curveball can be. It will have you swinging at air or feeling as if you've been blown off the plate. A lot takes place in this short memoir. Sonya May experiences abandonment, the loss of a loved one, physical and sexual abuse and homelessness. But she never gives up, in fact she fights back as her three marriages prove unfriuitful and unfaithful, especially as one of her husbands sexually abuses her daughter.

Sonya doesn't make lemonade, but she does keep swinging. Faith and hope become her best friends and they guide her into a place of wholeness and healing from being hit by a couple of those curveballs. She just kept believing. Life was not easy and she didn't give up. Sonya May is still in the game!
