Counter Balance: Phantom Force Jerry May

In mid-2016, the Middle East and Central Africa succumb to the fear and violence of tyrannical radical Islamic terrorists. By 2019 these terrorists have become more powerful and more threatening. They murder, rape, torture, gas, and behead those who oppose them. Power, fear, and intimidation become their allies. The tyrants are encouraged by the diplomatic and military withdrawal of the United States from the region. Their expansion is supported even more by the clandestine infusion of money and weapons from anonymous sources. The president of the United States, Sally Marie Chenoa, after being in office for only one year, senses a coming apocalypse. She is at first reluctant to act because of an earlier Top Secret confrontation with China. That confrontation came after the theft of 36 U. S. cruise missiles and the sinking of a U. S. Navy supply ship. She now begins to see nations fall; thousands of innocent people terrorized, tortured, and butchered; and oil-rich lands confiscated. She goes on the offensive and creates a secret, covert operations cadre of warriors consisting of all the U. S. military services, the clandestine Intelligence service, and coalition forces. They are a Phantom Force. Their mission: quietly neutralize tyrants. Her goal: change the strategic forces of the United States into a highly lethal, secret force of warriors, second to none.
