The relief was incredible, yet intangible, because it was more than the disappearance of the searing heat. I looked up at the skies and I could feel the presence of so many ancestors. They had spoken. They had opened a gateway for me to communicate more directly with them. From that day, they were constantly in my presence and the communication between us was crystal clear.
