The '60s. On sunny days in a small town in northern Italy at the foot of the Dolomites, Pinuccia, a ten years old girl meets Maria Covich, a mature woman tired by life, who quickly becomes her best friend.




The friendship between the two women, so different for their age but similar in their insecurities and their dreams, evolves in meeting rituals sitting on an old bench, where Pinuccia listens to Maria's life story and memories.




Maria Covich, a beautiful and lively young woman does not want to bow to her father's will and tries in every way to escape her destiny, but she is forced to enter the local convent when she is only sixteen years old.




Thus Maria began a life of complete solitude, oppression, bitterness and renunciation that lead her to shut herself up to her silence until, thanks to the friendship with a young girl, she's finally able to scream her truth to the world and reclaim her life and her future.
