Paula White serves as President Trump's personal spiritual advisor, and was appointed in 2019 to head the Faith and Opportunity Initiative, housed in the office of Public Liaison. She is also the pastor of City of Destiny in Apopka, Florida and a self-proclaimed apostle. To true-blue, no-nonsense Evangelicals, Paula White is a heretic of the worst kind, guilty of using unconventional fundraising techniques to fleece the Lord's people. Selling miracles is one of Paula White's favorite ways of taking advantage of hurting people. She routinely promises them healings, financial windfalls and spiritual protection from enemies seen and unseen in lieu of "sowing a financial seed." Her husband is Jonathan Cain who achieved fame as the keyboard player in the rock band Journey and now serves with her as "Minister Jon." He too has turned to hawking miracles as a sideline. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
