Interstellar Warrior Book 1: Colonial Soldier
Martin Ryder
This is the first book of a nine (so far) volume saga following the life of a young English soldier fighting on human colonised planets during the 25th Century. Mark Nelson is the Interstellar Warrior. Chosen before birth and developed to the point where he is the toughest and cleverest fighting man ever, he learns to fight in the streets (and in bars), on the battlefield, in the air and in space. His story starts as a raw 16 year old colonial soldier on a remote planet and continues as he develops his skills further until he is ready to lead the human race's forces in the battle for its survival. In Book 1 Mark fights invaders on Avalon, falls in love with a red headed hooker on Braemar, helps his next lover Ayshe Khaleed fight invaders on Al Qatar and flies a Warhawk in combat on Johnson's World.
