The military command centre inside the Rock of Gibraltar has been captured by terrorists, who threaten to blow up the fuel pipelines leading to the dockyard. Disaster threatens to engulf the tiny colony and the SAS are called in. Before they can act, Moroccan billionaire Nasir Mustapha offers his services to defuse the situation, as tensions beneath the surface in the colony between Gibraltarians and British reach boiling point. Naval Intelligence expert Neal Anderson is tasked with solving the mystery offinding out who planned the terrorist attack, and whether it is connected to the murder of a local politician. A female war correspondent sent to cover the story joins him, and together they follow a trail which takes them to Morocco and back into history, to the era when the Moors ruled Spain. The truth which they uncover turns out to pose another kind of threat to stability in the region.
