The Little Soldier is a collection of thirteen short stories. They are stories about boys and men at various ages in their lives who encounter life's inevitable challenges. From a young boy facing heart surgery, to an adolescent boy's first kiss; from a middle-aged man sitting in a prison sweat lodge, to an elderly man's sky-dive over Fiji, each continues to search for love and meaning in their lives. And in the end, it's not so much the differences found in these men's stories which is important, but what they share in common.
