Apple of the Mind's Eye contains poetry that is both uplifting and realistic. Ranging from certain sentiments that mostly all of us have become familiar with; such as, joy, love, and pain to name a few. The content written has been created not just to relate to the readers emotionally, but with high hopes to broaden perspectives and to perhaps even familiarize one with their own thoughts. This is Stephanie Rosssana Marquez's first published work that is shared with the public. Within the texts are several illustrations that have been crafted by Ernesto Jimenez. Each drawing included captures not only the individual poems themselves, but the entire nature and essence of this book. It now also includes the signatures of both the author and illustrator.
