Women have played a long and vital role in the development and growth of the Town of Hebron, NH. Several of those women went on and became known nationwide for their various talents and good works. This book pulls together for the first time the stories of these remarkable women. The first section of this book "Noted Women of Hebron" contains the biographical sketches as best we know them of nationally and locally important women that either were born in Hebron or lived in Hebron. The second section, "Other Hebron Stories", contains stories written about people and events in Hebron History that have not found their way into the History of Hebron nor into the Hebron Historical Society Gazette.
