Being smitten with someone and having them not feel the same way can be excruciating. This is exactly what TJ faces as he becomes deeply infatuated with Star Room Arts Dance School pupil and company member Kristen Bernadette.'Kristen In TJ's World' takes readers into a secret world composed of various films that play in the mind of Tyler Jonah Smith; a teenage boy who goes by TJ. It engages them in games and activities which center upon TJ's childhood impulses such as creating characters, memorizing dates and playing games with numbers. The story follows the adventures of an alter ego named Number 11 who is a physical representation of TJ's feelings for Kristen. As TJ struggles with feelings of insecurity, jealousy and anxiety surrounding his feelings for Kristen Number 11 embarks on a journey along with alter egos representing various aspects of TJ's life and a mysterious female character from TJ's future who becomes Number 11's love interest. These characters must work together to develop a system of support to help TJ cope with his feelings.
