It has been a little over thirteen years now since the time my son revealed his secret to me. In the almost four years' time that it has taken to complete this writing so many things have changed in our lives. God in His faithfulness has carried us through a hard time to a place of forgiveness, restoration, and blessing. I invite you to walk with me as I tell the tale of what I have learned along the way. I know the pain and struggles that many of you have faced or may still be facing-- brokenness, rejection, confusion, guilt, shame, lost relationships that weigh heavy on your heart, and so much more. I have walked that path with my own child. It is my heart's desire that in writing this book it will help to: -Bring life, healing, peace and joy back to those who are hurting.-Restore broken and lost relationships within the family and with our Creator.-Show how great the love of the Father is and how valuable we all are to Him.
