In this novel, as Cathy takes people in, since a storm is coming, and as the police officers find out who flipped the eighteen wheeler, over, and as the young men who are in the gang, and helped watch a boy die, as one of their former gang members killed him, are going to be on trial, as they pieced evidence together, with the help of the others, and as they start to recall many members that happen to them, as a new officer come in, with a personality disorder, that tired to help them, as the people from the electrical company, have to deal with the power lines, that are o the ground, as Cathy have to find in herself, forgiveness, for her ex-husband, as he is one that killed her father, and with all that as the these police officers are working with others to help a community get back on its feet.
