This supplement to Books about American Football 1891-2015 lists more than 500 books published from 2016 through 2018, many of which are new editions of books listed in the original work. More than 30 books scheduled for publication in 2019 are also included. Standard bibliographical information is included for all the titles. Titles are classified by a variety of categories and sub-categories and a lengthy index makes it easy to find books about specific teams or players. When Ralph Hickok's "Bibliography of Books About American Football 1891-2015" was originally published in 2016, Gerald R. Gems reviewed it in the Journal of Sport History. He wrote "Ralph Hickok has performed a valuable service for all researchers of American football by compiling a massive bibliography of books on the subject, surpassing that of Myron Smith in 1993, at an exceptional price."This new supplement picks up where that book ended by listing books on American football that have been published since 2015.
