Shadows and Sunshine John Edgell

With as many as possible of these nearly two hundred poems, I give a brief background statement for context as to the time of life and why I wrote them, a glimpse into what was going on in my mind at the time. As far as elegance and form, my poems may not be impressive, but the revealing of heart and soul is where their aesthetic value lies. The majority of the poems portray times of dark shadow and storm as well as times of sweet breezes and glorious sunshine. On the other hand, some of the poems are expressions of thought or are ministry related and are not particularly expressive of shadow and sunshine sentiments. However, you will find the vast majority of the poems expressive of the lows and highs, shadows and sunshine, Christ has allowed in my life.
