But the way she is posed she stares down the road. He doesn't even know if she knows he exists. But inside his metal joints, he knows that one day The Great Plastic God will find a way to let him cross the street and be with her, and today might be that day for a man has just pasted a sign to his dusty window that reads "Up For Lease."
