I was inspired to write this book because of so many misconceptions about Pit Bulls. When you hear the words, Pit Bull, you usually immediately think about negative labels of vicious, and very dangerous dogs. There are so many myths and opinions about this breed of dog. But, having known and loved a pit bull as Coco, I decided to have Coco tell her story. Some information you may know, some you may not. I know there are some pit bulls and other dogs who have earned the negative labels as some children who have come from some dysfunctional or bad homes. My family has had Coco since she was a baby. She has always behaved as any other pet breed when trained well and loved. Although she was not around many other dogs, she always seemed to have a great demeanor. She is a colorful chocolate brown and white skin coat female pit bull. She's lovable, and over the years, I've never seen her act out viciously, threatening, or dangerously to others. Yes, she has had moments of being upset, especially when she is bored, but she knew how to handle it. She certainly wasn't a guard dog, because she always wanted her stomach and ears rubbed. In this book, Coco not only provides pit bull history and other information about pit bulls, but she shares personal information about herself that will keep you laughing.
