Blood soaked the muzzle of the beast as it tore into the stomach of the screaming woman lying prone beneath the weight of its hulking frame. The woman would not survive the attack, but as long as she still drew breath into her ravaged body she used it to scream out in anger and pain at the massive anthropomorphic wolf pinning her to the ground. The wolf only paused its meal long enough to listen to its victim take her last, rattling breath, before filling its belly and leaving the emptied corpse lying beneath an old tree in the mixture of mud and blood the carnage created.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Amiya could never forget the atrocities of the Ordovic clan. If the nation had to bleed for her vengeance to be sated, then the ground itself would be bathed in blood. It would be far better for their young to be sacrificed in ending the threat, then to continue to be picked off in the wilds of Athium as the Ordovics grew fat on their flesh. She would eradicate every last thought of their clan, as they had done to countless others. Her flame knows no mercy, her blade forever thirsts for their blood. No one will be spared.
