Merlynn and Marissa Connors say farewell to their mom, Claire Connors as she heads out on a year long honeymoon with her second husband. The sisters are given a once in a lifetime chance to rediscover each other and themselves. Merlynn faces the mystery of the sperm donor of her 2 year old daughter as her sister, Marissa faces her ex-husband that abandoned her when she got pregnant and had her served divorce papers. Together, they face struggles and learn just how strong they truly are as individuals as well as, how strong they are together. They remember what it means to dance in the rain and live in a moment. They also learn to open their hearts and let go of the pains of the past and allow the love before them to blossom and come into full bloom. No one ever said living with family would be easy but, as they navigate the mishaps and wipe away the cobwebs, they rediscover who they are and what their bond means to them. They learn that sometimes, in our worst moments, we need to laugh and remember we are never truly alone in our struggles. Most of all, they learn that nothing is stronger than the bonds of their sisterhood, and maybe, just maybe, they aren't as different as they thought.
