Sasha D'Angelo is in trouble again. Tasked with serving process on some of the slimiest characters in the California desert, she can't catch a break. Her boyfriend, Alan Marsden is young associate with one of the biggest law firms in Southern California, but he is not living the life his parents wanted for him, and they don't approve of Sasha. There has been a massacre at a meth lab in the desert, and the man serving life for it may be innocent - or not. A stripper named Donatella knows something but isn't talking. Sasha has to find the remains of a shot up meth lab in the trackless desert, find Donatella and get her to talk, and find out all she can about a shadowy group called the Dogs of Night.
