In every great story of success or failure there is an inflection point - a specific moment where a decision made or postponed has lasting consequences, either for the better or worse. Human history is full of these inflection points that either led to great rises or epic failures in people, power, and technology. Until now, these inflection points have been localized. In other words, while they might have lasting and far reaching implications, they haven't impacted the whole. This is about to change. Whether we accept it or not, the population of earth faces such an inflection point. It is coming quickly and will affect every mammal, plant, insect, and reptile current occupying the surface of our planet. This is a much needed wake-up call.
