When one dives into 'The Adventurers and other poems', the reader expeditiously becomes the adventurer. One can swim with an abundance of joy in Drought's In Flight Poem and perhaps learn a few new strokes; we are all poems/Comprised of what we never say/Showing but never telling. The collection is a descriptive assembly of humour, acknowledgment, compassion, acceptance, love and understanding where the reader is introduced to the every-day and the spectacular. The reader dines, sleeps, walks and sails with generations of new families and friends.
