The Adventures of Tigger, Fridgemouse & Rara Balloo is a delightful and fun little story illustrated throughout with colourful pictures. It is suitable for reading aloud to younger children, 3 -7 Yrs, or for older children aged 8 - 14 Yrs to read alone. Written originally by the author for his three grandchildren and based loosely on a true story, the adventure is set in a large country house located just outside a beautiful little English village and the surrounding countryside. The book describes how a teenage boy mouse, Malcolm, is snatched by Tigger the cat and brought into the house for him to 'play' with. Recognising the danger he is in Malcolm quickly escapes behind the kitchen cupboards where Tigger cannot reach him. Try as he might the little mouse cannot get back out through the cat flap and to the safety of his worried parents, friends, and a pretty little teenage girl mouse called Mavis who he has a huge crush on!Getting hungry, he chews at the rubber seal around the refrigerator door to gain access to it and starts to 'steal' the tasty little treats contained within while Tigger and the master of the house, a half man- half-bear named Rara Balloo (RB), are sleeping. As the story unfolds, Tigger and RB endeavour to catch the mouse while the woodland creatures who spotted Malcolm being kidnapped also meet at the clearing in the woods and devise a cunning plan to rescue him...... To make this book even more interactive and fun, it is best read with an internet music App available to play music, and where indicated, to accompany some of the text.
