An historical novel based upon actual events. In January 1916, 18 American mining engineers were going to Cusi to reopen mines which had been closed for three years because of the Mexican Revolution. The train they were on was stopped by bandits which were part of Pancho Villa's. The American men were forced of the the train, stripped and executed one by one followed by the most horrific mutilation of their bodies. The story is told by the sole survivor of the massacre who many years later was hired to kill Pancho Villa.
