The Fat Man's Urchin

World War II is raging and there's a race to develop an atomic bomb. The United States and Germany have knowledge of nuclear fission but they lack the key component to bring a nuclear chain reaction to detonation. Jessica Troike, an American nuclear physicist, develops the key component which is called an urchin. A German spy named Peggy, posing as a Soviet agent, steals the urchin and replaces it with a fake. In order to steal the urchin Peggy distracts her adversaries with sex and then murders them with a commando knife. Her motive is not Fascism but greed. Wolfgang, a friend of Jessica's, comes to her aid. He regains possession of the urchin only to have it stolen again, or was it? In a final confrontation between Peggy, Jessica, and Wolfgang the fate of the free world hangs in the balance.
