Volume 2 of THE DEVOTIONAL POWER OF WORDS is aimed at the spiritual formation of believers in Jesus Christ and may also inspire and encourage persons that are searching for a faith path. The volume focuses on the Season of Advent which celebrates the birth of Jesus as Son of God and Savior. The book is a serious reflection upon the birth narratives of Luke and Matthew making use of words that come out of the narratives. Advent traditionally begins with the first of fours Sundays that lead up to Christmas. This volume begins each week with Sunday and includes a homily for each of the four Sundays. For the remaining days, the words begin with the same letter of the English alphabet each week. The author intentionally attempted to give meaning and content to words that are already included in the reader's vocabulary. Hopefully, the reader will come away armed with familiar words that trigger thoughts about God's love and his or her inestimable value.
