Lotus flowers symbolize growth. They symbolize the coming out of dark times, as they are something beautiful that grow out of the mud. These are my lotus flowers that I have collected over time, from age fifteen to nineteen. In other words, these are my experiences and feelings laid out on paper, as something beautiful that has grown out of the mud. Some poems are long, others are short, some have titles and some go titleless, but they all have the same amount of passion and emotion. I am hopeful that you are able to enjoy, and even better, relate to what I have to say.
