Covert, "secret soldiers" remain any government's most effective and lethal tool to impart its influence upon others, whether large standing armies or regional criminal enterprises. Nevertheless, they are often misused as "personal armies" or not employed within the strictest covert capacity, diluting their ability to perform where their talents best suggest. As the world migrates away from its relative fascination with taxpayer-funded conveniences towards a more traditional approach to social justice, the political Left and Right will drift further apart, leaving mainstream populations caught within a battle of ideologies. These micro wars will test the ability of conventional police and military forces, offering a pretext for further paramilitary operations undertaken both by governments and private entities.
