This is a basic map of the USA, with each State shown in differing colours and Alaska and Hawaii shown as insets. As with the other maps ITMB has released in this series (World, Canada, and Europe) this is a good quality but basic map showing the different States and their capitals (and sometimes adding a few major cities) on sheet 1 with sheet 2 continuing the outlines of each State and its capital without the names being shown. The purpose is to use sheet 1 as a viewing copy to show to the student, who then has to locate the same place on sheet 2.
