Let Be What Is, a collection of thirty poems written throughout the author's 20s, does not begin to capture all of life with Christ. Instead, it snapshots one woman's breaking, healing, and shaping moments. They are individual in that they are written out of her experience, but universal in that everyone who would follow Jesus must inevitably walk His path of death, burial, and resurrection. With words that are relatable, ordinary, and profound, Anna Michal weaves together a picture of the struggle it takes to find the beauty of Christ in a broken world and broken heart.
