This 40-day journey is not just to Hear Jesus but to recognize that Jesus desires to speak to us, so His voice can lead us home to The Father. This is our identity: We are the Children of The Most High GOD. Satan knows it this is why he attempts to taunt us. Jesus believes it this is why He went before us, not just on the cross, but in the wilderness. Jesus had to fix somethings that did not go right the first time Satan encountered humans in the wilderness. For 40 days, Jesus shows us that in a wilderness season, devotion to God is possible; in the wildness, we will be comforted; in the wilderness, The Holy Spirit has power to fill us with; and being in the wilderness is not our final destination, we will exit Spiritually Unscathed and Mentally Victorious.
