Yellow Amber and Missing Person Linda McKown
Yellow Amber and Missing Person
Linda McKown
Amber Wood stared at the yellow fossil tree resin where a bee became trapped millions of years ago. She wondered if there were bees in the amber room walls at the palace in Russia. She placed the piece in her collection, touching a one-inch yellow amber ball for luck. Her family recently did move to Pepin, Wisconsin, for her junior year. Her father intended to keep his family safe and happy. Unusual things began happening to Amber.
Instead of a phenomenal year, Amber became a missing person at age seventeen. Another local girl was murdered. The local sheriff couldn't find the Wood girl nor the culprit of the other murder. Someone was lying. Twenty years later, clues begin to reveal the truth.
