If you could see something in the future would you be more careful with the present? For 16-year-old Arnetta, having a family is the one thing she wants the most. It's 1985, and living with her grandparents in a small, southern textile mill town in South Carolina gives her protection and security, but something is missing. A chance encounter with an antique store owner pokes a hole in Arnetta's otherwise mundane life, causing a ripple effect which has the potential to change not only her life, but maybe yours as well.
