For Danny and Olivia Guarino the memories of being in middle school are recent enough to remember the feelings of being left out of the group and watching their fellow students be bullied. They wrote Ralph the Red Ant to help all students appreciate the differences among their classmates and to encourage them to find the bravery to stand up for themselves and others.
