This is the story of a small town, located in the Southwestern part of Tennessee, during the American Civil War, and it's young Christian Sheriff, Matthew Larson, or Matt, as he is known. The town is called Deedsboro by the local residents, and got that name from the acts of kindness that were shown to newcomers as they settled in the area. Good deeds as they were called, hence Deedsboro. The town was never recognized by the State of Tennessee or any other government, and in fact they probably didn't even know that Deedsboro existed. Matt Larson was born and raised in that town and later became its Sheriff. He always wanted Deedsboro to become a real town in the eyes of the State of Tennessee, and worked hard to see that happen. His efforts were hindered by the horrors of the Civil War, political bickering, and outright evil that engulfed the town. To complicate matters a strange letter showed up at the general store. It wasn't just an ordinary letter, but one believed to be from God, with the power to predict the future. Let's follow Matt as he tries to fulfill his dream for Deedsboro.
